Amazing what a bit of determination does. Not bad for a first flash animation, really, it's solid! You nailed the focus on character design and interesting composition, that's what I really like about it Focusing on those aspects really made the animation worth while specially the pacing, so keep at it!
If I had to say a few things to work on, (ignoring backgrounds and lighting) animation wise is an overshot when pico, darnell and nene went up and arms against daddy dearest. It could have used a bit more emphasis to really nail the point that they're about to shoot!
To save time, try not to make every piece of a character that is static a graphic, only do if you need to animate something moving. I learned that the hard way, all my time wasted making those graphics, pulling all nighters ~ adobe can be an ass sometimes, so I feel the pain ;_;
