That vomit scene felt completely out of place but man that looked so fun to animate XD I'm curious to know how it went about when you gave the vomit script to the VA's. They did such a great job, all of them, and WTF BROCK BAKER, no wonder I thought I heard yo mama jokes!
I hope you don't mind if I nitpick, but the pacing could use some work. Some pauses felt like it went on for a bit too long. Also, don't be afraid to try out more interesting angle shots as well! The camera angle you used when Senpai found the mouse was hilarious. I would love to see more interesting shots like those from ya! :D

ZaazNG responds:

Haha, it completely was, we just wanted to put a gross out scene out of nowhere, it truly was loads of fun to animate lol
I just asked in the script to make various puking sounds, @Trinatan did a wonderful job on that front, and I just went crazy with whatever sound I had in mind XP I'm still surprised Brock Baker agreed to this! He's a swell guy!
I completely agree, the pacing was definitely the worst part, I'll certainly keep that in mind for the future. Thank you! That angle was fun to pull off! Thanks Devoid for the review! :D

His brain :0 !!
A clear depiction of my anticipation for the release of this collab, hell yeah man!

ZaazNG responds:

Thanks, Devoid! Getting ever so close :)

Neat little cartoon! I'm glad that old cartoons from long gone days can see the light of day. This might actually be my first time hearing you Zaaz, you did great on the line delivery! Here's me, hoping for more Corey & Zaaz duo in the future XD, you both rock with voices.

ZaazNG responds:

Thank you so much, Devoid! :D
It was just sitting around without anyone seeing it, so I thought "Eh, just post it with new voices".
Also, thank you for your kind words on my VA work! Corey does a much better job than me lol and I really do enjoy voicing stuff with him! :D

YOOO SWEET! Sick color effects, you mean to tell me this was all done in Clip Studio, very cool :o

itsabluebanana responds:

All of this is done on CSP, though the amount of layers I created made the program chug a bit when I preview it haha

That twist was expectedly unexpected, Impressive! :o
I simply love this eerie feel from the coloring choice to the music. The production looked like it was lot of fun to film, especially the dining table scene, which was my favorite :3
Effective use of the mixed medium, even if few parts felt a bit janky, it gave it a nice charm to the whole film. Awesome job on this!

vadbibe responds:

thanks a lot for the full review! it wy aim to craft something that's both eerie and funny

Joel reduced the amount of years down to just 5 seconds, incredible speedrun record! The voice acting is awesome, major props to both! Combined with the exquisite animated expressions it made for a really funny short. Round of applause to all!

ZaazNG responds:

Thank you so much for your kind words! :)

From the dynamic perspective down to the coloring/style, it completely wowed me. I wish it won an award. I could analyze this forever, there's so much detail put into it, I love it :]
I love the use of reds and yellows to emphasize the heat of the day. As well as the dynamic shots having the sun be large and overbearing by placing it on higher positions, they make for really interesting compositional shots.
Amazing work!

JUS-TiME responds:

Woah thanks! I am glad you enjoyed it that much (:

Bien corta pero chevere... si es tu primera animacion te doy un pass. Si tu quisieras aprender como animar, refiere a los 12 principales de animacion. Te recommendo esas reglas para que empieces :]

KWMX responds:

Thanks for the recommendation xd.

Great job on the editing, specially near the last portion when it switches aspect ratio. Wasn't a fan on some of the earrape parts, it felt unnecessary when the animation itself could have carried the joke better. Good job on the animation, keep working on those expressions. The monkey had a nice charm to him.
Unfortunately, the video didn't convince me enough, so I'm still returning to monkey ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
Completely unrelated; I mistook your pfp for a penis tip lol

OttowanEmpire responds:

Thanks for the great feedback!! Yea admittedly, I got a little lazy on the earrape scenes XD

also, now i cannot unsee the penis tip lmao

I kept thinking about this animation even after the jam ended, something about it just stuck with me. I would describe it feeling like a high dream, incredibly surreal from the animation to script. Even though many parts were incredibly difficult to understand, I was laughing so hard at the clunky animation mixed in with the silly dialogue that it made it entertaining. I genuinely enjoyed the dialogue. If you plan to use more AI dialogue you should consider adding captions. I can tell a lot of effort was put into script writing because the humor complimented the absurdity of the animation and situation.
First time for everything I suppose. It made me reminiscent of my very first animation. I find your video encouraging in a way, seeing others try something for the first time and being ambitious to finish it.
I highly commend the effort on your first blender piece. Keep learning, let your ambition serve as your guide but never let it overwhelm you!

coystags responds:

Thanks, I will be sure to add subtitles in the future if I continue to use automated audio.

When I die, lay on me some sick shades so that I can finally become a cool skeleton I always aspired to be (⌐■_■)
